Molokai Cooperative, a resident-owned 55+ community located in Leesburg, Florida. We are centrally located and just a few short miles from historic Leesburg, Tavares, and Mount Dora. Molokai has just the right amount of small town feel while still having plenty of fun activities and exciting adventures. Our sunny climate is only enhanced by the sunny neighborly good cheer of the residents.
Molokai is within easy driving distance of both the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf, and some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. Not to mention that we are located in the center of some of the best fishing in the state with being near Central Florida Chain of Lakes. We are also within easy driving distance of Orlando (Hello Mickey Mouse), Tampa (home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers).
Perhaps you are more interested in quiet lazy days lounging by the pool with a good book or socializing with the other residents. Leesburg and the surrounding communities offer a number of historical sites to visit, some great libraries and some of the best food and entertainments around.
